Career opportunities are diverse and include retail management, apparel buying, fashion marketing, merchandising for an apparel or accessories line, and special events and promotions.
The Fashion Merchandising Program prepares students academically and in practice for entry-level positions in the fashion industry for both retail and wholesale settings. The senior-level internship requirement is an excellent opportunity to experience first-hand this exciting industry and provides a transition into the job market following graduation. As we continue to build partnerships and connections within the fashion industry to highlight our program and students, please be aware that the internship course is only offered in Spring and Summer semesters. Visit the HUSC Internship Website for information regarding deadlines and the approval process to take this course as you finish your junior year (or reach 90 credit hours).
Each semester FM students have the opportunity to apply to participate in the U of NYFW program that made possible through a partnership between 91做厙 and the Collegiate Licensing Company. Visit the page to learn more.
