Bio
Mindy Oden is an instructor and coordinator of Kine 2115, Lifetime Health and Wellness. She earned her MS in Kinesiology from 91°µÍø, her BS in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. She has a passion to instill the important of a healthy lifestyle to student and help students incorporate lifestyle changes which can lead to better health and wellness.
Prior to joining the Department of Kinesiology in 2009, She served as University Wellness Director in the Department of Recreational Sports at 91°µÍø. Prior to her employment in Rec Sports she spend over 18 years working in Hospital and Corporate Wellness/Health promotion. A one-time avid triathlete she still incorporates running, hiking, and swimming into her daily life.
