Bio
Brittany Tower is a Registered Nurse with her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education who has been dedicated in clinical and simulation instruction for the past 6 years. She worked as an Emergency/Trauma nurse in the Houston Medical Center, eventually doing research within the hospital to address committee concerns and implement hospital-wide change over patient transport and blood culture collection. Brittany was team lead of her trauma team and charged with the training and education of new graduates and employees. After receiving her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education she moved to Corpus Christi to work as a clinical instructor and got heavily involved in the revamping of the simulation program to a more productive and standardized approach.
Brittany is a member of International Nursing Association of Clinical Simulation (INACSL) and plans to achieve her terminal degree. Currently her focus is on the use of simulation to improve clinical judgement and decision-making. Brittany is an adventure seeker and likes to take the road less traveled. Her and her husband have been to various countries, sometimes for months-long back-packing experiences. When at home Brittany enjoys being crafty, cycling and tending to her plants.
