Beyond Business Magazine

Dean's Welcome

I am honored to represent the College of Business Administration as the Dean and delighted to share some highlights about the college with you. The College of Business Administration at 91°µÍø is accredited by the AACSB, which places us in the top 6% of Business Colleges worldwide that receive such accreditation. We are dedicated to student success and take academic excellence and career preparation seriously. Your time spent here will be a transformational experience that will help you develop and succeed both academically and professionally.

The College offers a variety of relevant programs at the undergraduate and the graduate level, including an executive MBA program in Banking. We are the only college in the state of Texas and one of seventeen nationwide to offer a PGA Golf Management program. Here, students learn from outstanding faculty members who are committed to student engagement and success. As a business student, you’ll have plenty of out-of-class opportunities to get you career-ready such as experiential learning, internships, leadership development, participation in student organizations, networking with professionals, and other career readiness programs. Our programs prepare students to be ethical problem-solvers, innovative and analytical team members, and effective communicators. These are the qualities that employers seek. We nurture strong partnerships with the business community and corporate leaders (many of whom are our alumni) which allows us to design our curriculum and develop opportunities that give students the real-world experience that employers value. As a result, we achieve placement rates that we are proud of.

We are here to help you be successful. I welcome you to explore all the college has to offer. If you have questions about pursuing a business degree or are simply curious about career opportunities with a business degree or our classes, we are here to help. If you are on 91°µÍø’s beautiful campus, please stop by to say Hi regardless of whether or not you have an academic or career-related question. I love meeting with students and their families! Please let me know how I can be of service to you.
