- It depends...

- If you want to live with others who share your interests or major, you can join a Living Community.
- If you want to make a smooth transition to college life, join our Bearkat Learning Community.
- How do I get accepted to a Living Learning Community?

Spots in a Living Community are assigned by major. When choosing a bed in a residence hall, you should be able to see Living Community beds if they are available. There are a very limited number of Living Community beds.
- How do I enroll in a Bearkat Learning Community?
First, talk with your academic advisor and let them know you are interested in registering for UNIV 1101. Then, be sure to add any Monday/Wednesday 2:00pm section of UNIV 1101 to your schedule.
- I am a CJ major and want to be in the CJ Living Learning Community, but I only want to take two of the assigned classes. Can I do that?
The Living Learning Communities have a block schedule, so students must enroll in ALL of the assigned classes. Your academic advisor can let you know if the block works for you or not.
