Mission

The Engineering Design Technology (ETDD) program equips students with the competency needed in the engineering design field for the implementation of technology innovation, utilization of engineering graphics, and problem solving skills.

Accreditation

The Engineering Design Technology program is now accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE).

A notable scholarship Engineering Technology students can apply for is the Fred Pirkle Endowed Scholarship. It is no less than $5,000 if awarded, and it is awarded to qualifying full-time undergraduate or graduate students majoring in a discipline with a curriculum dedicated to Engineering Technology. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 for this scholarship, and it is a one-time award that students must reapply for future consideration.
