The School of Agricultural Sciences at 91做厙 is one of the largest non-land grant agricultural programs in the nation. We have a very strong belief in, and commitment to, applying classroom learning in a laboratory setting. The university’s 1,740 acre Gibbs Ranch has purebred Angus and crossbred cattle, meat and commercial goats, a managed pine forest, orchard and wildlife preservation areas, as well as the Power Machinery Management Center and rodeo arena. Our Agriculture and Horticulture Centers consists of a meat science lab, indoor arena, greenhouses, and outdoor gardens. The Harrell Agricultural Engineering Technology Center includes a woods and metal fabrication lab, power and machinery lab, and biodiesel lab.
