The Elliott T. Bowers Honors College application process has recently changed.
Automatic Admission Eligibility
Were you in the Honors College or Honors Program at your previous university?
If you were in the Honors College at your previous university AND have a transfer GPA of 3.75 or above, email us explaining your interest and an official college transcript. Omit the two letters of recommendation, essay, and resume.
If you were on the Dean's List or Chancellor's List at Blinn College AND have a transfer GPA of 3.75 or above, please submit the ONLINE APPLICATION and an official college transcript. Omit the two letters of recommendation, essay, and resume.
Accepted Transfer Honors Students
Have you been accepted to the Elliott T. Bowers Honors College? Welcome to Honors!
Please view the NEXT STEPS FOR ADMITTED STUDENTS.
Remember that you can transfer up to 12 Honors credits completed at your previous college. To transfer your Honors credits, please send an unofficial college transcript to HONORS@91做厙.EDU, include your name and Sam ID, and list the Honors credits you completed. All Honors credits seeking to be transferred must be approved by Honors College Dean, Kimberly Bell.

Scholarship Opportunities
Bearkat Transfer Scholarship
The Bearkat Transfer scholarship is automatically awarded by the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office on a first-come, first-serve basis. No application is required other than applying for admission to 91做厙! LEARN MORE HERE

The Scholarship Team in the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office coordinates and administers 91做厙 scholarship programs for all student classification levels. 91做厙 utilizes a streamlined application, Scholarships4Kats. This application dramatically simplifies the process for students by importing key information from their student data record and allowing them to be automatically considered for all relevant scholarships. McNair Scholars Program
The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program is designed to provide talented low-income/first-generation and underserved undergraduate students with effective preparation for doctoral study. The McNair program at 91做厙 encourages graduate studies by providing opportunities for undergraduates to define their goals, engage in research, and develop the skills and faculty mentor relationships that are critical to success at the doctoral level.
